We had been coming to the Outer Banks for 27 years and were seasoned vacation homeowners when we decided to build our slice of paradise. One of the happiest experiences of our lives occurred during the period of time when our house was being built by BC Custom Builders. At the end, we threw a party for everybody associated with the construction of the house. We have enjoyed a lovely relationship with everybody. Hard to believe, I know, but there were no issues with anybody. We had lots of fun thru the process even tho we lived a day away from the Outer Banks. The Cublers built us a wonderful house that has graciously withstood the test of wind and rain, and other issues of wearablilty. After my husband retired, I accepted a position in Manteo, N.C. BC Custom Builders built our beautiful home in Manteo. BC built our house in Ocean Hill in 1994, remodeled it in 1999 to enclose the ground floor, and remodeled it again in 2007 to add an addition to accommodate an elevator. Karl and Elizabeth were an absolute pleasure to work with through the entire construction process of our rental home and what a process it was.
